Music News
Mr. Booz's second Monthly Music Blog post is available here, with information for all our families. This month's post describes our hands-on activities in Music Class, and has details for our Family Folk Dance Evening coming up on Tuesday, November 26 at 6:30-7:30 pm in the Lincoln Multi-Purpose Room. Check back around the start of each month to see what's happening in music classes at Lincoln.
The September Music “Ask Me…” pages were sent home with grades 1-4 students last week. If you have a chance, you can ask your student to tell you about (or perform!) the material for their grade level.
Mr. Booz always recommends the Pittsburgh Youth Chorus to families as a way to enrich their musical experience. Students in grades 2, 3, and 4, and 5 are welcome to join. PYC provides an excellent musical enrichment experience for the students who participate, offers financial aid, and we’ve had many Lincoln students benefit from their involvement in PYC over the years. You can find more information about placement at their website, and click here for a flyer about their program for students with physical, social, emotional, and/or intellectual challenges.

Sarris
Our Sarris Candy fundraiser for Spring has begun! You can order online by going to https://www.sarriscandiesfundraising.com, click online ordering and products. You will be prompted for our group ID: 10-1135, and your seller’s (child’s) name, which is optional. Candy will be shipped directly to you at a low cost of $5. Note: In-person sales garner a significantly larger profit for the school, but online sales are still acceptable! In person selling ends November 17 with a singular check and your order form sent to school with your child to the Lincoln PTO mailbox. Delivery will be December 9.
