ACCELERATED READER STARTS!!  AR has started. There are some great new titles that have been added to the AR list, as well as books that have been recently purchased at the Scholastic Book Fair. Remember that the list is available on the District Website.

We will be visiting on Thursday Jan. 28. This activity seems to be a family favorite. If you have not checked it out- maybe this is the month for you. More Info... I just found out that we will need to cancel for this Thursday, January 28th. I am waiting to hear back from Paramount and hope we can reschedule for Thursday, Feb 4th. I will let you know asap. Reading is Magic Are you looking for something to do during these cold winter nights? How about stopping in at the Bethel Park Public Library. They have a great Winter Reading Club for kids in Kindergarten through Grade 5. Check out their website for some great Winter Programs. PITTSBURGH CHILDREN'S THEATER PERFORMANCES  The Pittsburgh Children's Theater is planning performances of two hugely popular children's books - Don't Let the Pigeon... and Henry and Mudge. Performances are at Keystone Oaks High School. click here for ticket information ACCELERATED READER (FIRST GRADE FAMILY NIGHT)  We are hosting a Family Night to introduce parents of First Graders to our Accelerated Reader Program. We will talk about the program and there will be the opportunity to read with your child and take a test or two. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Even if you are not new to the program, you are encouraged to attend. We are asking that you arrive on the half hour for each session.
